abstract: “Die Förderung wissenschaftlicher Kompetenzen ist ein zentrales Ziel kompetenzorientierter Hochschullehre. Forschendes Lernen gilt als vielversprechendes didaktisches Prinzip, um Studierende aktiv in wissenschaftliche Prozesse einzubinden und ihre Selbstständigkeit sowie Reflexionsfähigkeit zu stärken. Dieser Beitrag beleuchtet die theoretischen Grundlagen des forschungsbasierten Lernens im Kontext der Hochschuldidaktik der Informatik und stellt mit den Research Focus Classes (RFCs) ein innovatives Lehrformat der blinded Universität vor. RFCs ermöglichen Studierenden, reale Forschungsfragen im Rahmen interaktiver Lehrveranstaltungen eigenständig zu entwickeln und zu bearbeiten. Anhand konkreter Praxisbeispiele wird das didaktische Konzept der RFCs erläutert. Eine begleitende Evaluation gibt Aufschluss über die Wirksamkeit des Formats und dessen Beitrag zur forschungsgeleiteten Lehre. Die Ergebnisse zeigen das Potenzial der RFCs zur forschungsbezogenen Kompetenzentwicklung beizutragen und die hochschuldidaktische Informatiklehre zu unterstützen.”
