On the Need for Strong Sovereignty in Data Ecosystems

Johannes is a researcher and Ph.D. student in computer science. He joined Klaus Wehrle’s Chair of Communication and Distributed Systems at RWTH Aachen University in November 2021. Before, he graduated with an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University in 2021 and 2019, respectively. His research interests focus on privacy-preserving methods for data analysis, especially in medical research, including confidential computing, homomorphic encryption, and differential privacy.
